Cross Platform designed and built the website for Christian Creatives Fund (CCF), a global, equity-free seed fund and accelerator for idea-stage Christian creatives across Africa.
The site serves as the programme’s front door, taking in applications from creators, explaining the accelerator and bringing in partners and donors to fund the movement.
Visit the live siteCCF backs African Christian storytellers working in film, music, podcasts, visual arts and digital media, through a 9-week accelerator followed by non-equity seed funding. That means the website has to speak to two very different audiences at once. Creators need to understand the programme, see that it’s for them even without a big following, and apply with confidence. Partners and donors need to trust the vision enough to give, sponsor a creative or support a project. CCF needed a site bold enough to match its “created to create” energy, and clear enough to turn interest from both groups into action.
The homepage leads with CCF’s mission and a direct call to apply, then walks creators through the journey in three simple steps: apply with a project proposal, join the accelerator, and receive non-equity funding. For those who want the details, it lays out how applications are reviewed, the four-pillar support framework and the full ten-module curriculum. A dedicated callout speaks to the current cohort, social media content creators, reinforcing that a big message matters more than a big following. The Partner page makes the case for giving and offers four clear ways to get involved, from donating and sponsoring a creative to supporting a project or volunteering time, backed by a detailed partnership form that captures the amount, frequency and preferred payment method, including bank transfer, mobile money and USSD for African givers. A community sign-up form grows CCF’s mailing list by capturing each subscriber’s creative gift and goals, and a blog keeps the movement’s story going. The site is fully responsive and optimised for search and social sharing.
CCF now has a single platform that powers its whole model: recruiting creators, building community and raising support. Applications come in through a structured process, partners can give in the way that suits them, and every community sign-up arrives with useful information about who the person is and what they create. The website gives a new fund the credibility to attract both talent and backing across Africa and beyond.
